The
Club
This
4x4 club is a vision that four young guys started on August 12th,
2001; wanting to tie their Love for Christ into their Love for 4-wheel
drive. With the Gifts provided from God, each one of the members
were able to help bring this vision into a reality. Person by person,
this club grows stronger. We are now represented by over 30 members,
from all walks of life.
Our
Mission:
It
is simple, and it is based off the text above. "To combine
our love for Offroading with our love for Christ."
You
do not have to be a Christian to be part of 4Given4x4. We are not
bible beaters; we are here to help eachother in wheeling and stand
by eachother in life. Anyone is welcome to join.
Membership
is easy.
We ask that you fill out an application, and
pay 15 dollars per year. Stickers and shirts are available for all
members. The is club is mostly based in Southern Michigan, but we
have many memebers throughout the midwest.
We
go on one trip per month. Our trip calender is usually set 4-12
months ahead of time, so you can adjust your schedule to be able
to fit those dates in. We make trips to the Badlands, Mounds, Silver
lake, and more importantly, our club property in Stevensville. The
Badlands and our private property are the most visited places, but
we are always open to new wheeling opportunities.
Our
club verse: Matthew 7: 13-14.
"Enter
by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that
leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because
narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life,
and there are few who find it. "
We wanted this verse because it says two things.
In life, we take God's narrow road which leads to life. In offroading,
we also take the narrow road, the more difficult path. On the broad
path, we see destruction and no challenge. On the narrow path we
see challenges and emminent carnage, much better!
